Depending on your domain registrar, you may need to make changes to your CNAME record in order for your site to be mapped:

Sign in to the site where you control your own site with custom URL.

Navigate to your Domain Name Server (DNS) management page. The location and name of this page varies by host, but can generally be found in the Domain Management or Advanced Settings section.

Find the CNAME settings and in the section ‘CNAME value or alias,’ enter the sub-domain you’d like to map the URL to. The sub-domain for www.example.com would be www.

Set the CNAME destination to the following address: ghs.google.com

Save your changes with your domain host.

The Virtual Assistants who get a competitive advantage

In a recent study business leaders where asked what will be the single biggest change their organisation will go through in the next ten years. [Canon Report - "Change or be left behind"].

43 per cent of business leaders overwhelmingly said that technological advancements were top of the list. This was over and above other areas such as general company changes, people changes and wider economic/legislative changes

The main message from the study was that business leaders’ felt they would be left behind if they don’t address it.  Not only will technology be the biggest change that organisations go through, it was also ranked highly among respondents as to the main reason behind why change occurred in Australian businesses in the first place.

Virtual Assistants who can assist employers to use technologies that will help them gain better efficiencies will have a competitive advantage.

Virtual Assistants and Employers can keep abreast of technology changes here.

iTunes also has many free podcasts available to download that Employers and Virtual Assistants will find useful. The podcast below is one example.

You must be able to

Accurately work from a price list updating and correcting prices in the online store

Add new items and delete old items.

Be internet savvy and able to locate text descriptions and images from other web sites which are then copy and pasted into our web site.
