  • The addition of the Specialised Skills search field
  • A new message centre within your member’s area
  • Ability to review VA Applicant’s that have responded to your job post
  • The ability to add Favourite VAs to your Favourites View

How much does it cost to register?

Its $1.95 to register with the website (annual membership). This will allow you to search the VA’s and post a job advertisement.  A one off fee of $49.95 is payable when you hire each VA.

How do I find a VA?

Signup to the site or login to your account. There are two ways that you can quickly search for a VA.

  1. Search Function (Diagram 1): Once in your members area after you have signed in click “Search Resumes”, using the form complete your requirements and the skills you require your VA to have and press ‘Search’. The results will appear below the search form. From here you can click on ‘details’ and look at each of the VA’s resume and details. You can add VA’s to a short list by clicking on the [F] which is a favourites button. From here you can contact the VA’s to discuss the job and terms and conditions.
  2. Job Ad Function: Once in your members area after you have signed in click “Advertise a Job and View Applicants”. This is the area where you can create your job ad and VA’s that apply for the job will be shown here. Click on “Create an Anonymous Virtual Assistant Job Ad”. This will provide a form to be completed that will form your job ad. The process is simple but remember to include all details about the job, the more information you provide the more suitable applicants will be. Also, and subject to your time restrictions, it is best to have the job open for at least 48 hours (including 2 business days) to get the best results. Once you have reviewed the Job Ad you can ‘Save and Publish’ which will publish the Job Ad on the site and VA’s will start applying. Check back regularly in this area to view the applicants that have applied to your Job.

How can I increase my chances of finding the best VA for my Job?

The more information you include in your job ad. The minimum information provided in a job ad should cover:

  1. Basic Description (i.e. Data Entry);
  2. Skills and tools required;
  3. Years experience you require;
  4. Rate of pay you are willing to pay (must be $25/hour or more);
  5. Number of hours per week you require;

One thing you should NOT include on the job ad is your contact details. If you do you will receive a large of calls and e-mails regarding the job.

By keeping your personal information private the flow of applicants is controlled within the website to a central area (Job Ads and Applicants View in the Members Area) where you can easily manage the communication and hiring process.

Another way is by utilising the star program. Essentially this is score out of 5 stars which previous employers have provided. Don’t just use this method as there will be lots of new VAs that may fit your requirement but have not yet been scored and hired.
